The PS,State Department for Energy, Alex Wachira, accompanied by Thika East MP Hon. Alice Nga'ng'a and REREC CEO, Dr. Rose Mkalama, officially launched the Matathia-Kantafu Village Rural Electrification Project in Thika East Constituency, Kiambu County.The launch was symbolically marked by the ceremonial erection of the first electricity pole; signifying the beginning of a long-awaited transformation for the community.
With the implementation now officially underway, the project will connect 29 households to the national grid, lighting up homes and unlocking new opportunities for growth and economic empowerment.
