While in Thika Town Constituency, the PS for the State Department for Energy,Alex Wachira, accompanied by Thika Town MP Hon. Alice Nga'ng'a and REREC CEO Dr. Rose Mkalama officially flagged off the distribution of energy-saving jikos; a significant step toward promoting cleanand sustainable cooking solutions in the region.This initiative is part of the national Energy-Saving Jiko Program, a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Energy and REREC, aimed at reducing reliance on traditional cooking methods that harm both health and the environment.
